The Natural Fibre Company

The Natural Fibre Company spins yarns from small quantities of fibre and works with customers to increase value-adding opportunities and improve their sales and profits.

We mainly work on commission but can sell small amounts or put you in touch with one of our customers for the products you need.

We specialise in British and coloured fibres, rare and minority breeds, mohair and alpaca, both organic and non organic.

We are developing local and breed-based branding and are starting to work with smaller, niche textile producers to reach into specialist fashion and furnishings outlets.

We already work with several dye-houses and weavers and plan to add a group of textile designers.

Our minimum order for woollen spinning is 20 kilograms. For carding only, it is 10 kg and is returned as rovings suitable for felt-making or hand-spinning. Our special share schemes enable producers with less than the minimum to access yarn or textiles.
